Joan M. Shoup

Born and reared in central Indiana, Joan graduated from Indiana  University  with  a degree in Germanic languages. After moving to the Nashville, Tennessee, area she worked for The Freedom Forum First Amendment Center at Vanderbilt    University, assisting with the development and production of the only weekly television program devoted to First Amendment rights. She subsequently spent twelve years as an editor in various capacities at Abingdon Press.

                         

Building on her editorial background, Joan established Sheaf House Publishers in the fall of 2006. Her goal is to publish extraordinary fiction that uplifts, inspires, and challenges today’s readers in their faith journey.

Michelle Sutton

Born in Michigan, reared in Syracuse, New York, Michelle received a dual Bachelor's Degree from SUNY - Oswego in 1988 in Public Justice and Psychology. She has worked for the past 20 years in social work, counseling, case management, government, and most recently with individuals who have developmental disabilities. 

Michelle married her soul mate nearly 18 years ago and they have two teenage sons. When Michelle isn't working, parenting, or being her husband's best friend, she is active in her church, writing edgy fiction, blogging, running/moderating a support group for Christians with Depression, moderating a group of Edgy Christian Fiction Lovers, designing websites, reading books, posting reviews, networking, marketing, and is now also the Editor in Chief of Christian Fiction Online Magazine... coming to you via CFBA in July 2008!

Jennifer Stephens
 

Jennifer Stephens grew up in a small Ohio town where she developed a passion for writing at an early age. She participated in Young Authors contests in grade school, wrote her first novel in high school, and wrote dozens of poems and short stories in between. She majored in elementary education with a concentration in English and the humanities at the University of Toledo.

Jennifer lives in the Nashville, Tennessee, area with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She teaches third grade at a Christian school and is very active with the youth in her church. A member of Middle Tennessee Christian Writers, she writes in her “spare” time. Her first novel, The Heart’s Journey Home, will release in January 2010.
